Emi's laptop

Emi sighs softly and closes her laptop.

Emi opens her laptop to see the message window blinking at her angrily.

You have seven (7) new messages.

Sighing, Emi reads through the messages quickly.

Needless to say, only three messages made her happy: one from Celestine, one from Elliot, and one from Abelle.

She replied only to them, typing swiftly, while smiling softly.

While I am sure this message will never reach you, for I am certain I will never send it, I am adressing it to you, dear friend.
Much has happened lately, and I am unsure what to think of it. I should probably start with my sister's sudden appearance - which is in itself a surprise! I had not even known until recently... that I have a half-sister. Her name is Corinne and she is... quite unique. I have accepted her, not only because I must, but also because I want to. We are, after all, blood related. Unfortunately, Corinne seems to hate me with a passion. Mother sent her here to turn me into a Lady, she had said. But I am sure there is a hidden motive behind it, perhaps to observe me? I do not know, and it is too soon to jump to conclusions...
On a brighter note, Yuki and Nanki got together. I believe they fit each other, even though Yuki is an idiot. Their relationship is but young, still I believe their bond will only strenghten over time. It makes me happy!
One more thing I must mention, even though it pains me. I have met a boy some time ago. His name is Baku and... well, we have had a fair share of odd moments together. I have learned things about him that are better left unsaid, at least for now. Point is, I wished, and still do, to be Baku's friend. I really care about him but... no, I should not continue. Things like this are better to spoken of in person. I look forward to seeing you again. Give my love to Elliot and Abelle.
