Emi's bedroom

Emi walked into her room silently. She felt a little more at peace after taking a nice, cold shower... She had braided her hair, and now collapsed onto her bed, book in hand.

"This is, after all, what keeps me sane," she sighed softly while opening the said book. Emi began reading, loosing herself in the wonderful world that was not reality.

She finished reading slowly and closed the book, placing it onto her bedside table gently. Then, Emi burried her face into her pillow, shivered slightly, feeling weird.

Oii~ what the hell, woman?!

Corinne barges in and flops on the bed beside Emi.
"Hello~ sister dearest. You're not wasting time again, are you?" she asks sweetly.

"Ah-Corinne?" Emi blinked, looking up at her.

Corinne snorts.
"Of course. How many sisters do you have, hm?"

"That is something I would like to know as well..." Emi muttered.

"Ah- was there someone at the door?"

Corinne's eyes narrow a bit.
"Nope. No one at all."

She blinked.
"Okay..? Was there something you needed then?"

Corinne scoffs again.
"Need I a reason to spend some quality time with my sister?"

"Oh my," Emi exclaimed sarcastically. "You actually want to spend your time with me?"

Corinne chuckles mockingly.
"Please. Who do you take me for?"

"That is what I thought," Emi shook her head a little, but smiled softly. That is how it was, and how it would be. Still, she hoped it might change someday.

"Come on," Corinne jumps up, pulling Emi with her. "Let's go somewhere!"

Emi blinked as she was pulled up.
"Where?"

"Anywhere!" she sighs. "Oh! Shopping!"

"No way," Emi looked at Corinne dully.

"Come on~" Corinne whines, pulling Emi out.

"Wait-no!" Emi sighed as she was pulled out.

Emi sat on the floor in front of her wardrobe. Her face was expressionless as her eyes traced a plain black T-shirt and black pants.

Emi jumped up, a smile appearing on her lips as she hurried to the front door of her house.

"I like your room," Nanki smiled, looking around.

"Mind the mess," she sighed. "I was trying to decide what to wear," she muttered sarcastically, glancing at her bed, covered in black shirts and jeans that... all looked very much alike.

Nanki eyed the pile.
"Extensive selection," she said sarcastically, producing a box from behind her back. "I was thinking something with a little more...color."

Now it was Emi's turn to eye the box... cautiously.

"Uh-um.." she nodded slowly.
