Emi's bedroom

"I will get you something for them then.." she said softly, placing the towel on her night table beside the bed. "I will leave this here if you wish to freshen up yourself some more."

She stood up slowly, thinking for a moment, then left the room again.

Anju glanced to the towel, gently grabbing it and slowly padded her face taking in slow deep breaths.

Rubbing her eye gently with one hand, Emi walked back in with a tray. She placed the tray on the night table, also, and put the balm and the pills on it, too.

"Nana made you some soup. Do you think you will be able to eat it?"

She set the towel onto the nightstand and nodded suddenly feeling a little hungry.

"Good," Emi let out a soft sigh of relief. "I also brought you some balm, you can rub it in around your eyes to ease the pain, and some pills you can drink with the tea Nana made. They will take away the pain, but also make you feel a little sleepy, so try to rest after eating.."

She paused, thinking some things over. "Do you need anything else?"

she shook her head 'no' and only had a tiny but true smile.

Emi nodded lightly and sat down on the floor, leaning her back to the wall.

Anju gazed at the soup and picked up the spoon and took a sip and savored the taste.

"Is it good?" Emi asked quietly.

Anju nodded taking another sip, then another, repeating slowly taking her time. "It's really good."

"I am glad.." Emi closed her eyes, relieved.

Anju finished her soup and set it on the tray and glanced to the pills and balm, then lightly grabbed the balm and applied it. She looked to the pills and blinked once.

"You need not take them if you do not wish to," Emi opened one eye to glance at Anju. "Just lay down and rest."

She closed her eye again, taking a deep breath and releasing it slowly.

She nodded and glanced to the bed and lightly laid on her side, curling slightly. She narrowed her tired eyes and they slowly shut staying closed for awhile.

Emi stood up and left the room silently, leaving Anju to rest.

Anju continued to sleep with no dreams, her breathing a little uneven but slow and calm.

Emi walked in silently, to check up on sleeping Anju.

Anju silently looked troubled as she slept, she gripped her shirt sleeping.

Emi sighed softly and sat on the bed next to Anju. She began gently brushing Anju's hair with her fingers, in a way a Mother would.

Anju had a calm expression as she slept.

Ame peeks in slightly, then sighs softly at the scene.

There she goes again... helping others before herself...
He leaves silently, not wishing to disturb the two.

Emi rolled over in her bed, unable to sleep. She pushed herself up into sitting position, and gazed through her window silently.

After a few moments, Emi stood up and got dressed silently, then left the room.
