Attic

The attic is filled with old books, toys, scraps of paper and ink bottles, and other junk. There are two old armchairs in the middle of the attic.

Yuki walks up and slumps in one of the old armchairs. He grabs one of the books and stares at its cover silently.

Ame joins Yuki in the attic and lights a weak light above them. He then takes a seat in the other armchair.

The two boys sit there in silence, not needing words to explain their thoughts to eachother.

"Let's just go to school," Yuki mutters after a while and the two boys leave the attic silently.

Ame climbs up to the attic and takes a seat in one of the old armchairs, thinking to himself silently.
