*follows her father into the kitchen and sits on a stool*
You have to go on another trip?
Her father nods.
For how long? Where?
He sets his bag down on the tile floor. "A couple weeks. No more than a month. Out to your Aunt Tama's, she's come down with something." He ruffles his daughter's hair, smiling at her slightly worried face.
Will she be alright? Do you need me to come with you? *eyes are focused on her father, full of concern*
"Yes, she'll be fine, it's just the flu. But you know she's out there by herself, and she says a cup of tea should help. And I run a tea shop, after all." He laughed, picking up his bag. "You'll be alright, won't you?"
*smiles* Yep, I should be fine! *takes out her snail and lets him wander slowly across her knuckles*
He smiled at her and placed a kiss on her cheek, hugging her. "Nanki," he looked from the snail on her fingers to the amused expression on her face, "you really are different, aren't you?" He laughed and walked to the front door.
Yes, I am, Dad. *hugs him a last time* See you when you get back. Tell Aunt Tama I said to get better!
"I will. Love you." He kisses the top of her head and walks out the front door to a cab and drives off.
*smiles and waves* It's just you and me now, little guy. *looks down at her snail*
*walks off*[/color]
