Front yard

Emi walked to the door of her mansion, fighting to keep her black umbrella over her head. She put it down - it was useless anyway, thanks to the winds - and opened the door carefully.

"Emi-sama~" Nana whined as she opened the door. "Where were you?"
Her eyes were sparkly with tears as she struck a dramatic pose.

"School. Out, walking. Library..." Emi shrugged lightly, stepping in calmly and walking towards the living room.

Nana blinked and closed the door, then hurried off after Emi.

Emi stepped out, her black umbrella over her head. Her eyes glowed dangerously for a moment and she blinked, but then shook the feeling off and made her way towards the school.

Ame walked up to Emi's front door calmly. He raised his brow a little, then let out a sigh of annoyance and knocked twice.

"Nana, the door!" Corinne yells annoyed.

Nana opens the door and bows politely.
"Good day to you, sir. What business have you with the Rousseau family?"

Ame blinked.
"Nana? Why so formal? It's just me.."

Nana winces.
"Shh.. not so loud. Young mistress will hear you."

"Nanaaa~ who is that?" Corinne calls, approaching.

"A-ah. Ame, of the Reion family, Corinne-sama."

Ame frowned a little, then calmed.
"Is Emi in?" he asked politely.

"Hum? Reion? Quite a wealthy family," Corinne chuckles. "Off with you," she waves Nana off.

"Yes, Corinne-sama," Nana bows and leaves.

"So," Corinne smirks. "What brings you here?"

"I would like to see Emi," Ame repeated, suppressed another frown. He was't sure what was going on... but he didn't like it.

"Emi?" Corinne rolls her eyes. "How boring..."

She glances to the inside of the house, then smirks.
"I'm afraid she's not in~"

"Are you sure?" Ame asked, his eyes narrowing a bit. "Perhaps she came back without you noticing?"

"Nonsense!" Corinne waves the thought off. "Now, was there something else?"

"No..." Ame looked at her, expressionless. "No. I apologize for intruding, Corinne-san."

He bowed slightly and left.

"Hum~" Corinne chuckles as he leaves. "Hum~"

She continues chuckling as she retreats into the mansion, closing the door behind her.

Corinne pulls Emi out, while chuckling wickedly.
"Come on~" she whines again. "You'll have fun, I promise!"

"You want me to have fun?" Emi raised an eyebrow at Corinne.

"Take me to a bookstore, then," she stated calmly, closing her eyes.

"What? No way~" Corinne scoffs. "We're going to the Mall!"

"Now where's that blasted driver of ours?"

"M-mall?" Emi winced.

"I gave Hisoka time off. So unless you wish to walk~" she smiled innocently.

"Gah! Useless!" Corinne pouts.

"Which reminds me..." Emi frowned a little. "Both Nana and Hisoka have been like family to me. I do not like the way you treat them, nor how you speak of them. I must ask you to stop, and start treating them with respect."

"Respect? They're our servants!" Corinne crosses her arms over her chest.

"Oh fine," she pouts. "I know you care about them... but you have to go to the Mall with me!"

"Really?" Emi blinked. That was... easy.

"Thank you," she smiled softly. "But.. do I really have to go.. there?"

"Yes," Corinne looks at her dully and starts pulling her away again.

"Ah- Corinne.." Emi winced as she was pulled away again.
