Mother's room

The room is locked and the furniture is covered with dusty white sheets.
My mother only uses the room when she comes to visit from France, which is almost never.

Corinne walked up and unlocked the door thanks to the key her Mother had given her. She entered the room and removed the sheets from the bed and the furniture, then plopped down on the bed and hugged the soft pillow close to her chest.

"Aah~ this. This is what I deserve.. thank you Mother~"

Corinne lay on the bed, thinking to herself. She thought about her Mother, and Emi.. and all the things she had to tell Emi..

It was wrong, Corinne knew it.
"But.." she stood up and a soft chuckle escaped her lips. "I will not fail you, Mother. I will stay your favourite daughter, no matter what."

She left the room, still chuckling to herself, and locked the door behind her.
